I'm also a Operation Iraqi Freedom vet I was running convoys all over Iraq from Feb 03- May 04. I had one of the most dangerous jobs in combat running gun trucks and transporting goods all over the country. 6 months into the war my vehicle was hit with an IED and shot me out of the door at 30 mph. Not realizing my injuries at the time I tried to rescue women and children from the blast while taking enemy fire because we were in a full blown road side attack! After clearing the area i noticed the pain in my Left foot. My Left foot was injured in the blast resulting in surgery. I'm now training to put together support groups for veterans related to the fitness industry and a well known photographer Ian Sitren is pitching the ideas to some fitness industry execs! When the stamina and hydration levels is very well taken-care off, one can pruduce a powerful motocross champion who can manipulate and maneuver his bike at very high levels at the most stessful of situations. So its extremely important that people, especially athletes, should not overlook the importance of drinking water and other fluids. This is very vital when it comes to competitions. It can be the factor that can make or break a rider's road to victory.
